The December 2023 issue of Citizen Science Lighthouse, the digital magazine of the European Citizen Science collaboration group, launched by the European Citizen Science Association, featured RadoNorm’s citizen science (CS) webinar held on European Radon Day (7th November). The issue presents the relevance of RadoNorm’s CS projects in the light of other European CS initiatives and highlights the importance of building trust and awareness among citizens when it comes to radon risk communication. Additionally, the December issue summarises the takeaways from the session on “citizen engagement, motivation and recruitment” organised by the projects RadoNorm and DECIDO for the members of the European CS collaboration group.
