We have successfully published a new open access article titled “Evaluation of Radon Action Plans: Searching for a Systematic and Standardised Method” in the International Journal of Environment and Public Health. This collaborative effort involved various members from different work packages in RadoNorm, namely M. Martell, T. Perko, K. N. Rovenská, I. Fojtíková and R. Geysmans. The article received partial funding from RadoNorm and partial funding from the EU-RAP project supported by Directorate-General Energy at the European Commission. The paper holds significance for radon action plan (RAP) owners and European regulatory authorities. It contributes to the development of standardised and systematic methods for assessing the effectiveness of RAPs. This advancement aims to support the establishment of effectiveness indicators, ultimately enhancing the strategies employed to mitigate the risks associated with radon exposure.
