Successful PhD Defence of Sofie Apers

Sofie Apers, who conducted her PhD project in RadoNorm WP6 (Societal Aspects), at the University of Antwerp and SCK CEN in Belgium successfully defended her doctoral thesis on 28th March in Antwerp. Her thesis titled “(In)visible and (in)vincible? Designing theory-based, evidence-based, and strategic communication materials to increase radon protection intentions” presents significant contributions to radon risk communication strategies. Her work was supervised by Tanja Perko (SCK CEN) and Heidi Vandebosch (U Antwerp) of RadoNorm, and David Hevey (TCD) formed part of her jury. RadoNorm is proud of her accomplishments.
