Two citizen scientists from the RadoNorm Aerosol citizen science project in Hungary who are students at Lánczos Kornél High School in Székesfehérvár participated at the József Hlavay National Environmental Science and Engineering Student Conference from 18 – 19 April 2024. During an oral presentation, Hanna Takács presented the outcomes of radon measurements conducted in the homes of students and teachers, using a toolkit assembled as part of the RadoNorm Aerosol citizen science project. This project aims to test the feasibility of developing a toolkit consisting of several low-cost sensors for measuring various air quality and radiation components, including radon, CO2, particulate matter, NOX, CO, methane, and ozone.
