The Citizen Science Project RadoNorm-Slovenia is proud to present a new video showcasing how to effectively remediate a home after discovering elevated indoor radon levels. In this initiative, citizen scientists from Slovenia experimented with various approaches and remediation techniques. Through their dedicated efforts, they identified the most cost-efficient method tailored to the specific types of homes in their region. The RadoNorm Citizen Science Incubator, hosting 11 Citizen Science projects across Europe, has demonstrated remarkable impact and long-term sustainability. Although our official support for the project has concluded, it continues to thrive independently, making a lasting contribution to radiation protection in society. We invite you to watch the video and learn more about these practical remediation technique applied in Slovenia in the Kocevje and Ribnica regions.
