A new paper from WP6 has just been published in the Journal of Risk Research. The paper investigates how to improve methodology to measure public knowledge, behaviour, attitudes and feelings related to radon. The paper titled “Foxes caught in the same snare: a methodological review of social radon studies” was written by RadoNorm PhD candidate M. Muric with co-authors P. Thijssen, C. Turcanu, T. Perko and Y. Tomkiv. The research results will improve not only the RadoNorm research on societal aspects and pinpoint best measurement practices to be used for the RadoNorm behavioural Atlas, but they will also help radon management authorities to fulfil a legal requirement related to public awareness from annex XVIII of the EU Basic Safety Standards Directive.
