The RadoNorm project has officially launched the European Radon Behavioural Atlas, now accessible at https://radonbehaviouratlas.wixstudio.com/radonorm. This interactive digital platform visualises public perceptions, beliefs, and behaviours surrounding radon exposure and Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM) across Europe.

The Atlas is built on findings from one of the most extensive public opinion surveys in the field covering 14 EU Member States and Norway and involving over 17,000 respondents. The insights gained will help shape evidence-based National Radon Action Plans, improving public health strategies by aligning them more closely with societal attitudes and behaviours.

With a multidisciplinary approach that bridges science and social understanding, RadoNorm aims to strengthen radiation protection by making population behaviour a core component of policy development.
