The University of Gothenburg in Sweden has joined the RadoNorm consortium as a new partner, effective August 2024. Colleagues Dr. M. Isaksson and Dr. V. Hansen will be contributing to the ongoing work in Task 2.5 by making a systematic methodology for consistent information collection in a comparable way, and particularly in providing available information about NORM exposure sites in Greenland. Dr. Hansen’s activities will include identifying different types of sites, relevant radionuclides, and other present hazards, consideration of the main processes causing the disequilibrium and radionuclide release, how they are distributed within the facilities and/or in the environment.

RadoNorm is happy to welcome this new collaboration.
