The Environmental Management and Remediation (ENVIRONET) meeting, organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in December 2024, featured among others, the presentation and discussion of results from the RadoNorm project.

During the sessions, moderated by the RadoNorm researcher Catrinel Turcanu from SCK CEN, key findings were shared, including the presentation of the research “Perceptions of End-Users and Industry Representatives on Reusing NORM Residues in Building Materials.” This important study was presented by the RadoNorm early-career researcher Nazanin Love, representing both Hasselt University and SCK CEN. This collaborative effort highlights the significance of innovative research in addressing environmental challenges and exploring sustainable solutions for reusing NORM residues in construction materials. The strong RadoNorm participation at the meeting demonstrates its successful impact in the international network.
