Upcoming RadoNorm Citizen Science Project RadAR at the E³UDRES² International Citizen Science Conference

N. Canha from Instituto Superior Técnico at the University of Lisbon delivered a presentation on the RadoNorm-funded RadAR citizen science project at the first ever E³UDRES² International Citizen Science Conference in Setúbal, Portugal from 29 – 30 June 2023. The focus of the project is to engage 60 high school students from 3 schools in Portugal as key players in radon management. The RadAR project will kick-start in September 2023.

In his presentation, Dr. Canha provided an overview of the project’s inception through to its successful application to the RadoNorm open call. He also outlined the implementation strategies and upcoming activities of RadAR. Furthermore, Dr. Canha actively participated in a panel discussion during the conference. The event was organised by  E³UDRES², a European University Alliance comprising nine higher education institutions located in Europe.
