The Radiochemistry Unit is part of the University of Helsinki’s Department of Chemistry. It is the largest University-based radiochemistry research and education facility in Finland, and home to approximately 40 radiochemistry researchers. Our research includes blue skies investigations and applied research that helps to address the needs of the nuclear industry, other industries (e.g. the mining industry where NORM is a problem), and nuclear regulators / safety authorities
