Haute école spécialisée de Suisse occidentale

HES‐SO is the largest university of applied sciences in Switzerland and the second largest higher education institution of the country. Strongly anchored in the regional economy, HES‐SO collaborates closely with SMEs, and its R&D also extends to certain aspects of industrial‐scale production. It has been involved in European Framework Programmes since 1998.

In Radonorm project, HES‐SO is represented by HEIA‐FR through the TRANSFORM Institute. In this group croqAIR (Romand indoor air quality and radon center) studies the factors influencing the indoor air quality and sustainability of the built park, focusing on radon, building and environmental conditions.
