Danish Cancer Society

The headquarters of the Danish Cancer Society is in an old restored hospital building located in in the center of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Research Center has existed for more than half a century with development and use of the Danish Cancer Registry and a number of other nation-wide datasets as a core resource. The institute has developed expertise in register linkage procedures and epidemiological use of the multiple Danish registry data. The Center has all software and hardware needed for epidemiological-statistical research. Approximately 200 researchers work at the center within different research areas including basic and translational biological research, epidemiology and statistics.
