RICOMET 2023 Conference

As in previous years, RadoNorm is co-organiser of the RICOMET 2023 conference. The 9th international conference on Social Sciences and Humanities in Ionising Radiation Research (RICOMET2023) will take place in Dessel, Belgium on 30 August – 1 September 2023. Pre-RICOMET events will be organised from 28th August.

Topics in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities that will be addressed are: decommissioning; nuclear energy futures; radon and NORM; medical applications; opportunities and needs in radiation protection. Nominations are also being called for the Kjell Andersson award, which recognises significant achievements in research pertaining to ionising radiation in the Social Sciences and Humanities.

The call for abstracts opens in March 2023 and will close in May 2023. More information can be found on the conference website.
