EDM – Empresa de Desenvolvimento Mineiro S.A. collaborates with RadoNorm WP2

The Portuguese state-owned enterprise EDM – Empresa de Desenvolvimento Mineiro S. A. is graciously lending its support to WP2 for the characterisation of NORM sites by giving access to sampling sites and data. EDM is responsible for the remediation of all uranium mining legacy sites in Portugal and this activity is developed within the scope of the concession contract concluded with the Portuguese State. The company will participate as a stakeholder within the project and bilateral agreements with the relevant RadoNorm partners are being drafted.
