4th Annual Meeting

RadoNorm’s 4th Annual Meeting took place from 10th – 13th June 2024 at Hotel Slon in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with the help of our local organiser Elektroinštitut Milan Vidmar inštitut (EIMV, Slovenia) together with the Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS, Germany). This year too, the meeting was held in hybrid format allowing participation both online and in-person and thereby reaching as many as possible in the radiation protection community.

On the 10th and 11th June, there were internal meetings within RadoNorm work packages (WPs). A meeting of the RadoNorm early career researcher council also took place, followed by a social networking event organised by the ECRs.

The 12th and 13th June featured plenary sessions with the consortium, stakeholders and any interested parties. RadoNorm’s progress was showcased under the theme of translating research into societal output and divided into three sessions titled Fundamentals, Recommendations, Applications & Implementation. The relevance of RadoNorm’s progress in society was expounded upon and this encouraged lively and constructive discussions, to highlight gaps in knowledge and other areas of interest where our research can be applied.
